"Big Girl Heels" Progress Post

Since I didn't finish project number five, I decided to make it a process critique. Here is a little bit of progress i have made so far.

Day One

This was my first day of progress during the break. I wanted to finish any pieces of skin colored object before working on anything else since it takes up so much of the piece and we had very little time to work on it. during this process I attempted to get the shadows and highlights to contrast well in order to align with my goal of having consistent lighting on all objects.

Day Two

The next check in was when I started working on the teeny tiny pearls and beads. Which I will never be doing again. I don't quite remember how long the white pearls took but I do know that the purple beads took me forever. During one class I was able to get maybe 8 done at most (our classes are 90 minutes.)

Day Three

This is when I finally fixed and finsihed the beads, added texture and got a sense of what the piece may look like. I want to fix the shadows on the pearls but i'm deciding to finish the background and put the rest of the paint on the canvas and then work on the fine details.
