Noelani jones reaction

Something really cool I found about noelani's lecture was that she grows her own dyes and materials. Even when everything was frozen she used kitchen scraps like tea bags and onion peels. Another dye technique she used was after she weaves a piece she put down some rusty chains on it and that dyed the piece. I'm really interested in natural dyes and using natural materials instead of fully man made. In my future works I really want to incorporation natural dyes and water colors into my pieces.
